While studying music at Bristol, Paddy served as the pianist, conductor, and occasionally gangster rapper, for the Bristol University Jazz Orchestra. He also rose to the exalted rank of Vice President of the JazzFunkSoul Society. Not bad for a lowly pianist and part time badman.

Paddy has played at various high grade venues across the country, including the Cavern Club in Liverpool; Saint George's Bristol; Oliver's Jazz Bar in Greenwich; Grimsby town hall; and was resident pianist at Park Chinois in Mayfair.
